Gird Up The Loins Of Your Mind

'07 | Scribbled sometime on Tuesday by Peter Helms

It is in our minds that most of the battle rages. Thoughts are things and our thoughts become words. Words are either containers of life or death. David prays in Psalm 19:14 "let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, oh Lord my Rock and my Redeemer. Paul talks about having our minds renewed, and Peter tells us to gird up the loins of our minds! (1 Pet 1:13) The 'loins' is symbolic for our reproductive organs. Our minds is exactly like that. Proverbs says:"As a man thinketh so is he" We produce what we think! This is where we co-labor with Christ. This is where His dreams are projected on our minds and where we speak into being what we see! So what do you see?

Do you see the Kingdom of God in your personal life, your finances, your family, your children? The Kingdom of God is King Jesus in charge! His will being done! So what is His will concerning you, your family, your children, your finances? It is all about bringing heaven down on earth! That is His will! Paul says it in an other way: 'If then you have been raised with Christ, aim and seek the rich treasures that are above where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. SET YOUR MINDS AND KEEP THEM SET ON WHAT IS ABOVE, NOT ON THE THINGS THAT ARE ON EARTH!' (Col 3:1-2) Remember, your mind has the ability to reproduce. Start imagining how Gods will would look like in your life. Dare to see His abundant life realized in your circumstances. Start talking the Kingdom and you will soon live His will!

I like where you're going here. Is there a new class starting around this subject? We Christ followers must get beyond the Cross and see our future that begins now! He died for more than salvation, he wants to show and bring us home. Have you heard some of Myles Monroe's thoughts on the Kingdom? I believe the lord is directing His people out of the middle ages and preparing us for a homecoming into the new age. Love U guys, keep up the good work, Joe. PS: did U get to speak with Peggy much?
